Locai Public Agency Agreement
<br /> The Local Public Agency Agreement authorizes a$3,600,000 allocation ofFreight Funds to assist
<br /> with the purchase of right of way for the project{$2,500,04Q in Freight Funds}and the relocation of
<br /> an electrical substation($2,0OO,OQO in Freight Funds). The City's portion to match the $3,600,000 in
<br /> Freight Funds is$3,21$,000 and is proposed to be paid out of the State Motor Fuel Tax Fund with
<br /> $2,000,000 being reimbursed in the future from Railroad Grade Crassing Protection Funds once an
<br /> order has been issued by the Illinois Commerce Commission.
<br /> Utility Agreement
<br /> The proposed Agreement for Reimbursable Utility Adjustment between the State of Illinois,the City
<br /> of Decatur,and the Ameren Illinois Company is to retoca#e the electrical substation located at 1840
<br /> North Brush College Road (see the attached locatian map) at an estimated cost af$4,817,982.
<br /> Project Funding Sumrnary
<br /> The current status of the project fi.znding is provided in Ta61e 1 beiow. The City is currently working
<br /> with the Illinois Commerce Commission to gain final approval for$12 million in Grade Cxossing
<br /> Protection fi�nds.
