8.2 Pricing&Processing Fee <br /> The per ton price for the Single Stream Material as described in Exhibit A, <br /> delivered by Supplier, shall be the Total Market Value of the Material <br /> (determined based on the percentage and the Value/ton of each component of <br /> the Single Stream Material as shown in the table) less the processing fees. <br /> Current component percentages and an example of how prices shall be <br /> calculated are listed in Exhibit A. When the Total Market Value exceeds the <br /> processing fee,the Contractor will rebate excess amount to the City. <br /> Contractor shall determine the Total Market Value for each month of the term <br /> based on changes in the value/ton. The value/ton shall be based upon national <br /> industry publications reflecting the market value of community such as <br /> Secondary Materials Pricing.com and Pulp and Paper Weekly <br /> The Single Stream Material Processing Fees including transportation fees to <br /> be used for the purpose of determining the pricing for remainder of calendar <br /> year 2021 are as follows: <br /> Delivered to Receiving/Transfer Locations- Decatur, IL $112.71 <br /> The Processing Fee may be adjusted on each January 1 st of each calendar year <br /> during the Term by an amount equal to the annual percentage increase or <br /> decrease, as the case may be, of the Midwest Area Consumer Price Index of <br /> All Urban Consumers published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for the <br /> most recent twelve-month period for which such information is available, <br /> provided the Contractor provides a 30-day written notice to the City of this <br /> adjustment. <br /> Section 9. Community Education <br /> Recognizing that there is a causal relationship between community education and awareness <br /> and recycling participation rates and recycling contamination, the Contractor shall assist the <br /> City in continual community education efforts related to recycling. <br /> Section 10. Loads Reiected <br /> City agrees to use its best efforts to only have collected and delivered material as specified <br /> in Exhibits A and B. Contractor will work proactively with City and Haulers to identify <br /> material that has excess residuals so Hauler can take action to prevent future delivery of <br /> such excess residuals. <br /> The Contractor shall immediately notify the City's Contract Manager if a load received from <br /> one of the City's authorized Haulers appears to have a non-recyclable contamination rate <br /> higher than 30 percent.
