Task 3: Document Transportation Needs <br /> The AECOM Team will document transportation needs through plan review, stakeholder interviews, data review <br /> and analysis, intersection turning movement counts, crash data review, safety and geometric analysis. <br /> A. Plan Review <br /> The AECOM Team will complete a desk review of up to eight(8)completed plans and studies impacting <br /> the study area.This review will focus primarily on the DUATS 2045 LRTP,the Supply Chain Optimization <br /> Study,the Decatur Area Transportation Efficiency Study (DATES).A short summary, including bulleted <br /> items,will be prepared to summarize the key findings.As appropriate,this summary will also incorporate <br /> key findings from the stakeholder meetings (see task 2). Additionally, the team will review the projects <br /> included in the most recent Transportation Improvement Program to determine potential impacts to the <br /> study area. <br /> B. Traffic Data Collection <br /> The AECOM Team will coordinate the following data collection efforts: <br /> a. Turning Movement Counts <br /> The AECOM Team (contracting with Quality Counts to conduct the field data collection) will <br /> collect peak hour (6:30-8:30AM, 3:30-5:30PM) turning movement traffic counts with mode <br /> classification (car, bike, pedestrian, single-unit heavy vehicle, multi-unit heavy vehicle) by video <br /> detection for a typical weekday at up to twenty-eight (28) intersections. The preliminary list of <br /> intersections includes the following: <br /> 1) Route 48&1-72 WB ramps <br /> 2) Route 48&1-72 EB ramps <br /> 3) Route 48&Boyd Rd <br /> 4) Route 48&Commercial Crossing <br /> 5) Route 48&Brush College Rd <br /> 6) Route 48&E Mound Rd <br /> 7) Route 48&Robin Dr <br /> 8) Route 48&Tanager Dr <br /> 9) 22nd Street&27th Street <br /> 10) 22nd Street&Hubbard Ave <br /> 11) 22nd Street&E Pershing Rd <br /> 12) 22nd Street&E Pershing Rd slip <br /> 13) 22nd Street&Firestone Football Field Entrance(Caterpillar/Kenco Warehouse North Entrance) <br /> 14) 22nd Street&Caterpillar/Kenco Warehouse South Entrance <br /> 15) 22nd Street&T/CCI Manufacturing Entrance <br /> 16) 22nd Street&Division Street <br /> 17) 22nd Street&E Geddes Ave <br /> 18) 22nd Street&E Locust Street <br /> 19) 27th Street&ADM Distribution Entrance <br /> 20) 27th Street&Hubbard Ave <br /> 21) 27th Street&large facility entrance <br /> 22) 27th Street&E Pershing Rd <br /> 23) 27th Street&Caterpillar Entrance <br /> 24) 27th Street&E Parkway Dr <br /> 25) 27th Street&Caterpillar/Kenco Warehouse Entrance <br /> 26) 27th Street&E Harrison Street <br /> 27) 27th Street&Wallace Ave <br /> 28) 27th Street&E Garfield Ave <br /> b.
