operating sanitary waste disposal facility which may include a properly operating and installed septic tank system conforming with the specifications, standards and regulations of the State of Illinois regarding such systems. 5. (a) That during the term of this Agreement both parties shall be capable of furnishing potable water from their respective water works systems to the other party via one or more water main interconnections, the costs for which are to be divided equally unless decided otherwise by mutual agreement. Water main interconnection(s) quantity of water, location, design, metering, telemetry, operations and maintenance procedures and funding shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties in writing prior to construction and be constructed in compliance with the established standards used by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for similar construction. The quantity of water to be so furnished shall be calculated monthly, whether the same is delivered at one or more points of delivery, and the same shall be delivered by both parties at a pressure of not less than 40 pounds static; subject, however, to the provisions of Sections 9 and 12 hereof. (b) The Village shall notify the City's Water Production Office by telephone (217- 424-2831) not later than one (1) hour after any potable water treated by the City is placed into the Village's distribution system, and shall briefly explain such placement and use at such time.
