...56. MONTHLY CHARGES. <br /> A. The monthly charge or rate for other than hourly parking in spaces <br /> designated for the same on uncovered levels of Garage B and C shall be at the rate <br /> established in Section 73 of this chapter. <br /> B. The monthly charge or rate for other than hourly parking in spaces <br /> designated for the same on covered levels of Garages B and C shall be at the rate <br /> established in Section 73 of this chapter.... <br /> ...60. IMPOUNDMENT OF VEHICLE. Any vehicle parked, stored or left <br /> standing within an area in Garages B and C designated for monthly or other than hourly <br /> parking which has not been issued a permit for such may be towed from the area and <br /> impounded until such time as the owner thereof shall pay the costs and charges for such <br /> towing along with a processing fee at the rate established in Section 72 of this chapter.... <br /> ...64. CONFERENCE OR CONVENTION PARKING PERMITS. The City <br /> Manager, Public Works Director or designee may issue parking permits to bona fide <br /> groups sponsoring conferences, conventions and similar events in Decatur for use at any <br /> three hour or longer free parking space except in Parking Lot E. The group sponsoring <br /> the conference must purchase passes for the entire group at least five business days in <br /> advance by paying a fee established in Section 73 of this chapter per space per day. The <br /> conference organizer shall provide each patron with a printed conference parking permit <br /> hang-tag which shall be hung from the interior rear view mirror, or certificate which shall <br /> be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle parked. The conference or convention <br /> parking permit shall be valid on the date(s) for which it is issued and shall include the <br /> right to leave the parking spaces and return to the parking spaces without additional cost. <br /> Said payment is to be made to the Financial Management Department of the City of <br /> Decatur.... (Amended, Ordinance 2013-42, May 6, 2013) <br /> ...66. DOWNTOWN EMPLOYEE PARKING PERMITS. <br /> A. Each Downtown Employee shall, upon providing proof of <br /> employment in the Central Business District at the time of application and <br /> renewal and paying the Downtown Employee Parking Permit fee to the Financial <br /> Management Department of the City of Decatur,be eligible to receive a single, <br /> transferable "Downtown Employee Parking Permit " authorizing the vehicle <br /> described in the permit application only, to park in spaces designated by the City <br /> Manager or designee in the Downtown Area, as follows: <br /> (1) From 6:00 A.M. through 4:00 P.M. Mondays through Fridays. <br /> (2) Vehicles must display valid Downtown Employee Parking Permit. <br /> (Amended, Ordinance 2014-31, July 7, 2014) <br /> B. The Downtown Employee Parking Permit fee per month per <br /> vehicle shall be at the rate established in Section 73 of this chapter, except for <br /> employee parking permits for Lot G.
