Exhibit A.1 13. This Agreement does not include a Geotechnical survey. If it is deemed necessary,the City will provide that information as part of a separate agreement. 14. This Agreement does not include televising for sewer service laterals or design for sewer lining. 15. This Agreement does not include roadway typical section studies or pavement design studies. Existing and proposed typical section elements, including pavement cores and proposed pavement sections,will be provided by the City. 16. This Agreement does not include traffic data collection or traffic forecasting. 17. This Agreement does not include roadway lighting design. 18. This Agreement does not include utility potholing or potholing/subsurface investigation to locate or verify existing service lines. It is assumed that the City will contract these services independently,if needed. 19. This Agreement does not include construction engineering services. Construction engineering services will be provided by a subsequent Agreement. 20. This Agreement assumes that one bid package will be prepared for all water main installation, spanning multiple areas within the Census Tract 3. It is assumed to be approximately 2,000 If of new water main installation. It is assumed that two bid packages will be prepared for the service line replacements. 21. This Agreement assumes that City Standard details will be utilized when and where applicable. Clark Dietz will develop project specific details as required. 22. This Agreement assumes that existing City Right Of Entry(ROE)forms will be utilized. If modifications need to be made based upon project specific needs,City will make those changes, and their legal department will review prior to distribution. 23. This Agreement assumes that one(1)public meeting will be held for each Galvanized Water Service Replacement project bid package. (Total of 2 meetings) 24. This Agreement assumes that the existing dashboards already created by the City will be utilized. The existing dashboards will be updated on a monthly basis. If existing dashboards can not be utilized, building new dashboards is not included in this scope of work. 25. This Agreement assumes that the existing data management system currently used by the City will be utilized. Clark Dietz will coordinate with the City to incorporate data from this year's project into their existing system. This agreement does not include evaluation or transitioning to a different data management system. 26. This Agreement includes preparing the IEPA SRF Engineering design checklist and bidding checklist, as well as other required loan document preparation. It is assumed that financial documents will be provided by the City. A-4
