Use one drive for a hot <br /> spare. <br /> o Configure one new storage pool comprised of the 4 new Disk RAID <br /> Groups and setup auto-tiering. <br /> • VMware <br /> o Will ran VMware vSphere 5.5 Enterprise—licenses transferred from <br /> the existing Dell servers <br /> o Blades will boot from SAN to esxi 5.5 <br /> o New VMware vCenter 5.5 virtual Center will be setup to manage new <br /> VMware 5.5 environment. <br /> • Virtual Machine Migration <br /> o Migrate existing virtual machines from the Dell platform to the new <br /> 5.5 vSphere platform and train City of Decatur staff on techniques and <br /> tools available. Options are to use VMware Converter or attaching the <br /> UCS servers to the Equalogic platform via ISCSI.
