- 17 - <br /> periods: Employees shall make the election known by the <br /> first week in July, and that election shall be binding <br /> through the end of the calendar year; the employees shall <br /> then make an election in the first week of January, and that <br /> election shall be binding for the first six months of the <br /> calendar year. Forty eight (48) hours of comp-time may be <br /> accumulated. An employee shall give three (3) days notice <br /> of his or her request to use accumulated comp-time. The <br /> request shall be subject to the approval of the Employer but <br /> such approval shall be contingent on adequate Library <br /> staffing and shall not be unreasonably withheld. <br /> Section 3 . Call Back Pay <br /> Maintenance staff being called in to work and reporting <br /> for work outside their regular working hours shall receive <br /> two (2) hours minimum pay. <br /> Section 4 . Holiday and Overtime Work Assignments <br /> The assignment of holiday and overtime work shall be in <br /> accordance with divisional needs . <br /> Section 5. Schedules <br /> Schedules shall be posted thirty (30) days in advance <br /> by the first day of the month. Schedules shall not be <br /> changed except in cases of emergency or with mutual <br /> agreement between the Employer and the employee. <br /> Section 6 . Flextime <br /> The Employer shall provide the employees with flextime <br /> opportunities under the following conditions: <br /> A. Flextime shall only be granted if there is mutual <br /> agreement between the Employer and the employee. <br /> B. A request for flextime shall not be unreasonably <br /> denied. <br /> ARTICLE IX <br /> VACATIONS <br /> Section 1 . <br />
