Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement South Shores Bridge Replacement Project 2. EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF WAY The CITY agrees to pay all costs to obtain title and/or access to the properties required for completion of this project. Additionally,the DISTRICT grants to the CITY any and all authority vested in the DISTRICT to complete this project. 3. CONSTRUCTION TIME The South Shores Bridge over Sand Creek Replacement Project is scheduled to be constructed between July 2012 and August 2013. 4. ESTIMATED PROJECT COST The following itemized list of Project Costs is included as a guide to estimate project expense: a Relocation of SDD Interceptor $550,000 Construction Engineering of Interceptor Relocation $ 10,000 Estimated Project Cost $560,000 The costs shown are approximate and subject to change. The actual costs will be used for billing and reimbursement. Upon opening bids, the STATE will provide the CITY with bid totals and request a concurrence to award. Upon receiving bid totals from the STATE,the CITY will inform the DISTRICT and request a concurrence letter. 5. FUNDING AND REPAYMENT The DISTRICT will wholly fund the interceptor relocation portion of this project. All actual expenses that arise from this project, including but not limited to professional services rendered by URS Corporation or their sub-consultants to assist with construction engineering will be invoiced to the DISTRICT on a monthly basis based on the actual progress payments made by the City. The DISTRICT agrees to reimburse the CITY for invoiced expenses within forty-five(45)calendar days of invoice. 6. SOURCE OF PAYMENT The DISTRICT hereby pledges its full faith and credit for the repayment of expenses incurred and herein described. 7. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION The CITY will,upon completion and acceptance of plans and specifications for the South Shores Bridge Replacement,and award of the construction contract by the Illinois Department of Transportation,provide engineering supervision during construction of the proposed improvement with the assistance of URS Corporation, 345 East Ash Avenue,Decatur, Illinois, 62526,as necessary. It is Mutually agreed, in construction of the South Shores Bridge over Sand Creek including the relocation of the interceptor,to require compliance with all municipal,state, and federal laws,including but not limited to, Prevailing Wage laws.
