6. Interpret construction contract documents when requested by Owner or <br /> Contractor. <br /> 7. Review, evaluate, and provide recommendations to Owner about the <br /> acceptability of up to three substitutions proposed by Contractor. <br /> 8. Make periodic visits to the construction site to observe progress of the work, <br /> and consult with the Owner and the Contractor concerning problems and progress <br /> of the work. A total of four(4) visits are anticipated, one visit for each pair of <br /> basins at the 50 percent completion stage, and one visit for each pair of basins at <br /> the 99 percent completion stage. <br /> 9. Any work requested by Owner that is not specifically indicated in the tasks <br /> described above will be considered Supplemental Services, including but not <br /> limited to the following: <br /> • Attendance at pre-bid or preconstruction meetings, city council meetings or <br /> meetings with local or state regulatory agencies; <br /> • Assistance with bid protests or re-bidding; <br /> • Review or processing contractor's pay requests; <br /> • Preparation or administration of change orders; <br /> • Visits to the construction site or to Owner's location in excess of the number <br /> of such trips stipulated above. <br /> END OF ATTACHMENT A <br /> 3 <br /> City of Decatur Task Order No. 19 <br /> Rev.08-17-11 <br />
