An assessment and analysis of traffic-generated noise analysis will be performed.Analysis will be <br /> made for highway traffic-generated noise for the existing underpass roadway alianment,for a <br /> lowered roadway underpassing the railroad, and for an elevated roadway overpassing the railroad. <br /> Noise impacts of trains will also be evaluated-for the existing condition, for an overpassing <br /> highway grade separation, and for a reconstructed underpass. The potential need for noise walls as <br /> part of a grade separation improvement will also be studied. <br /> 8. Prepare the Cultural Resources section of the project report. Information obtained from field surveys <br /> and from the Environmental Survey Request will be used in evaluating potential impacts of grade <br /> separation alternatives on cultural resources. <br /> 9. Evaluate 4(�impacts.These may include impacts to schoo]playgrounds. In the event that 4(f) lands <br /> are identified within the project limits,URS will prepare the 4(� evaluation consisting of the <br /> following items: <br /> A. Description of Proposed Action, <br /> B. Description of Section 4(f�Property(ies), <br /> C. Impacts on the Section 4(�Property(ies), <br /> D. Avoidance Alternatives, <br /> E. Measures to Minimize Harm <br /> F. Section 4(f� Coordination. <br /> 10. If federal funds will not be used for construction, URS will evaluate potential special waste sites. A <br /> Preliminary Environmental Site Assessment(PESA) will be prepared. <br /> 1 L If federal funds will not be used for construction,URS will perform the necessary coordination for <br /> threatened and endangered species. <br /> 12. If federal funds will not be used for construction,URS will identify,delineate and document any <br /> wetlands. A mitigation plan will be prepared if there are any impacts to wetlands. <br /> Task 00800—Public Involvement <br /> URS will conduct two (2)public meetings. The following tasks shall be performed: <br /> 1. Schedule and secure location for Public Meeting#1 <br /> 2. Prepare and submit advertisements for Public Meeting#1 <br /> 3. Prepare exhibits and handouts for Public Meeting#1 <br /> 4. Hold Public Meeting#1 <br /> 5. Collect and summarize feedback from Public Meeting#1 <br /> 6. Provide City of Decatur updates and exhibits that they may use for additional public meetings <br /> 7. Schedule and secure location for Public Meeting#2 <br /> 8.
