• ' r^. . , <br /> Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement <br /> K-Mart Pump Station Replacement <br /> ADDENDLJM #1 <br /> INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br /> Addendum #1 <br /> WHEREAS, the Sanitary District of Decatur, Illinois, an Illinois unit of local government, Macon <br /> County, Illinois ("DISTRICT")and the City of Decatur, Illinois, a Municipal Corporation, <br /> Macon County, Illinois ("CITY") entered into an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement on <br /> the 15th day of December, 2008, for the construction of a replacement pump station at K- <br /> MART plaza; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY, during the DISTRICT execution of the Intergovernmental <br /> Cooperation Agreement, requested a suspension in replacement activity to assess long <br /> term community needs in vicinity surrounding the pump station; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY has determined a replacement force main is required to increase <br /> capacity to the customers serviced by the K-MART plaza pump station; and <br /> WHEREAS, this addendum expands the scope of work to include the installation and <br /> commissioning of a 6" force main CITY desires to put into service from the K-MART <br /> plaza pump station; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY and DISTRICT agree that reference to the construction of the K-Mart ' <br /> pump station project now refers to construction of the K-Mart pump station and the force main <br /> as described in the KMART PUMP STATION AND FORCE MAIN plans and specifications. <br /> Paragraph 1. ENUMERATION OF ATTACHMENTS is amended as follows: <br /> Replace: <br /> Exhibit `C' — Agreement for construction engineering services for New K-Mart <br /> Pump Station <br /> With: <br /> E�chibit `G1' - Agreement for construction engineering services for New K-Mart <br /> Pump Station and Force Main. Exhibit `C-1' attached. <br /> Paragraph 3. CONSTRUCTION TIME is amended as follows: <br /> The K-Mart Pump Station and force main is scheduled to be constructed and commissioned <br /> prior to September 1 S`, 2010. <br /> Paragraph 4. ESTIMATED PROJECT COST is amended as follows: <br /> The following list of Project Costs is included as a guide to estimate project expense: <br /> (a) Design of the New K-Mart plaza pump station $ 25,000 <br /> (b) Construction of PS and Force main $395,000 <br /> (c) Construction Engineering of PS and Force main $ 64,000 <br /> (d) Legal $ 3,000 <br /> Estimated Project Cost $487,000 <br />
