Review the existing expansion joints, joint sealants, and waterproofing coatings. <br /> Leaks through the parking leveis will be reviewed. <br /> E. Review the stair/elevator tower roofs for life expectancy, proper drainage, leaks, <br /> etc. <br /> F. Determine the condition and adequacy of the plumbing and drainage systems in <br /> each garage. <br /> G. Provide a condition assessment of the rest room facility in Garage B. <br /> H. Review the restrooms, attendant booths, and other elements of the structures for <br /> compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. <br /> I. Provide a condition assessment of the electrical systems within the parking garages <br /> including lighting. <br /> J. Perform an energy savings audit of the structures to determine and recommend <br /> changes in lighting to reduce the use of electricity. This will include the following <br /> steps: <br /> i. Establish existing energy usage via City utility bill records and/or fixture count/ <br /> W=VA calculations. <br /> ii. Perform light level measurements in representative areas of the parking ramps, <br /> stairwells, elevator lobbies, roof level, and typical high vehicle and pedestrian <br /> traffic areas utilizing an illuminance meter in accordance with Illuminating <br /> Engineering Society (IES) standards. <br /> iii. Evaluate current light levels based on applicable electrical codes and lighting <br /> guidelines for parking ramps, including the recommendations of the National <br /> Parking Association and IES RP-20 guidelines. <br /> iv. With input from the City, establish desired lighting levels for the two garages. <br /> v. Establish other performance criteria and solicit proposafs from qualified vendors <br /> for light fixture replacement. Proposals shall include a calculation of energy <br /> usage for all alternatives. <br /> vi. Review vendor proposals and provide commentary and recommendations to <br /> the City for various alternatives. <br /> K. Recommend modifications to enhance the appearance of the old attendant <br /> booths in Garage C. <br /> 1.4 Materials Testing <br /> No materials testing is anticipated for this project. Should we encounter any conditions <br /> in the field that warrant further investigation, we will bring that to the City's attention for <br /> consideration. <br /> _;_ <br />
