Anderson Plaza <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> Dear Mayor McElroy: <br /> This letter is to confirm engagement of professional services by the City of Decatur for <br /> professional consultation and preparation of a 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness. <br /> This engagement will begin immediately upon execution of this agreement. The target date for <br /> completion of the engagement is October 19, 2009. If circumstances arise that will delay <br /> completion, I will inform the City in a memo of the cause of the delay as well as the adjusted <br /> target date for completion. <br /> Scope <br /> The scope of the project is detailed in the Proposal for Services dated March 16, 2009, which is <br /> hereby incorporated into and made a part of this agreement, except that the "Deliverables and <br /> Timeline"and`Budget" are amended to those shown following the signatures to this agreement. <br /> Confidentiality <br /> During this engagement I may have access to proprietary and other confidential information. <br /> Therefore, I agree to hold such material and information in strictest confidence, not to make use <br /> of it other than for the performance of this engagement, and not to release or disclose it to any <br /> other party unless you agree to such release ar disclosure. <br /> Fees and Billings <br /> The cost of the engagement is $5,600. This includes the preparation and delivery to the City of a <br /> proposed 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness for consideration by the City Council. <br /> This price is based on the cooperation and timely and complete delivery of requested materials <br /> and information to me by the City of Decatur, including its staff. Should I incur extra wark as a <br /> result of your organization's failure to cooperate or provide such information and materials I will <br /> invoice for such work at my standard consulting rate of$150 per hour.
