Staff recommends approval of the proposed amended Institutional Overlay District with the <br /> following requirements: <br /> a. The sign permits that include the reuse or removal of the existing freestanding signs <br /> on the four corners must be submitted and approved prior to installation. <br /> PLAN COMMISSION ACTION <br /> 1. Section XXIX.G. of the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance #3512 as amended) requires the Plan <br /> Commission to hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to the City Council on <br /> amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. A motion to forward Calendar Number 09-01 to City <br /> Council with a recommendation of approval is suggested. <br /> The above report constitutes the testimony and recommendation of the Planning and Economic <br /> Development Division and Economic and Urban Development Department, City of Decatur. <br /> Joselyn A.
