Employee to undertake and perform such work at hours which might b considered irregular, and <br /> to provide Employee with a reasonable limitation to the total numb r of hours which may be <br /> required of him in any given week, it is understood and agreed that Employee shall work the <br /> hours necessary in order for him to fulfill the requirements and respon ibilities of the position of <br /> City Manager, which hours shall not be less than forth (40) per week. <br /> 6. EMPLOYEE'S SALARY. Employee shall receive a salar at an annual rate of One <br /> Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($105,000.00) for the period com encing May 3, 2008, and <br /> such salary shall be payable in bi-weekly installments as per the pay p an generally applicable to <br /> all City employees. Such payments shall be subject to normal and c�stomary withholding, and <br /> Employee hereby irrevocably consents to the reporting of such pay ents to federal and state <br /> taxing authorities, and further consents to the withholding of amounts normally and customarily <br /> withheld which funds are thereby authorized to be paid to lawful federal and state taxing <br /> authorities. The payment of the salary described herein shall contin e from the date set forth <br /> until such time as this Agreement is terminated as provided for in § 1 hereof. <br /> 7. VACATION LEAVE. Employee shall remain entitled to t e same number of days of <br /> paid vacation leave during the term of this Agreement as Employee p ssesses under the current <br /> policies and plans of the City of Decatur. Therefore, Employee's va ation benefits shall not be <br /> altered, modified, or changed from the benefits which he possesses c �'rrently as an employee of <br /> the City. <br /> 8. SICK LEAVE. Employee shall remain entitled to the sa e number of days of paid <br /> sick leave during the term of this Agreement as Employee possesses under the current policies <br /> and plans of the City of Decatur. Therefore, Employee's sick leave b nefits shall not be altered, <br /> modified, or changed from the benefits which he possesses currently an employee of the City. <br /> 3 <br />
