• On May 19, 2008 —Council approved Resolution R2008-66 authorizing an amendment to the <br /> Engineering agreement with PWC to add $7,500 to agreement. <br /> • On May 19, 2008 —Council approved Resolution R2008-67 authorizing a pricing agreement <br /> with Sternberg Lighting for downtown street lighting and the purchase of 141uminaries for <br /> the 300 Block North Water Street Enhancement Project, City Project 07-03. <br /> • On January 22, 2008 —Council approved Resolution 2008-04 authorizing an agreement with <br /> Preston Jackson for a Cast Bronze and Stainless Steel Sculpture commemorating the work of <br /> Abraham Lincoln and African American Soldiers of the Civil War. <br /> An overall view of the proposed plaza area is provided for the Council's information. The work <br /> entails sidewalks, planters, general landscaping, and a foundation for the Preston Jackson statue. <br /> The project plans and specifications were prepared by PWC Engineering. Mr. Cochran's recommendation is attached. Otto Baum is completing the current <br /> streetscape work on the 300 block of North Water Street. This Company has completed many <br /> successful projects for the City. Staffrecommends that the City Council approve a contract with <br /> OBCI to complete the 300 Block North Water Street Plaza Project. <br /> Street light poles and luminaries will be purchased under a separate 10 year agreement with Sternberg <br /> Lighting that was approved by Council on May 19, 2008. Under the agreement the City will <br /> purchase 6 poles with luminaries for$15,342 which includes $15,102 for lights and $240 for <br /> shipping. <br /> Page ( 2 <br />
