, � � I . � . <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> FOR THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR <br /> SANITARY SEWER MASTER PLAN <br /> STEP 1 <br /> � <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into thi �'day of C /�-!2008, by and between <br /> the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, hereinafter referred to s the `CITY" and BAINBRIDGE, <br /> GEE, MILANSKI & ASSOCIATES, INC., 1670 South Taylorville Road, Decatur, Illinois 62521, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "ENGINEER", covers professional engineering services in connection with <br /> the preparation of Step 1 of a Sanitary Sewer Master Plan hereinafter referred to as the "PROJECT". <br /> Said PROJECT has been designated CITY PROJECT �� and includes the first step of a <br /> comprehensive long range Master Plan for the City of Decatur Sanitary Sewer System. <br /> THEREFORF,, in consideration of these premises and of the mutuai covenants herein set forth, <br /> THE ENGINEER AGREES: <br /> 1. To perform or be responsible for the performance of the following engineering services: <br /> a.) To meet with City empioyees, review current practices of sewer system management, study <br /> the condition of the Sanitary Sewer System, review the status of regulatory compliance, suggest <br /> financing alternatives,detail goals and objectives for management of the system, forecast cash <br /> flows, recommend steps in developing an asset management plan, and recommend changes to the <br /> management, operation and maintenance. The items as outlined in the attached Scope of Work. <br /> b.) Summarize the findings of this study in a report and furnish the City with 25 copies of the <br /> report. <br /> c.) Assist the City in their study of the Storm Sewer System by providing insight, hydraulic <br /> capacity and other background on the Combined Sewer portion of the collection system to CDI <br /> on an as needed and as directed basis. No scope is defined for this work. <br /> 2. Insurance - The ENGINEER shall procure and maintain for the term of this Contract, at its <br /> expense, insurance ofthe type and in the minimum amounts stated below: <br /> a. Workers'Compensation Statutory <br /> b. Employer's Liability - <br /> 1) Each Accident $ 500,000 <br /> 2) Disease, Policy Limit 500,000 <br /> 3) Disease, Each Employee SOQ,000 <br /> c. General Liability - <br /> 1) Each Occurrence(Bodily [njury& Property Damage) $ 1,000,000 <br /> 2) General Aggregate 2,000,000 <br /> d.
