The work conducted in this task will be summarized in a draft technical <br /> memorandum submitted to the Owner for review and comments,which will be addressed <br /> in a final technical memorandum (15 copies). The Engineer will attend one meeting with <br /> the Owner to present the draft technical memorandum and receive comments. The <br /> Engineer will also attend one meeting to present the fmal technical memorandum. <br /> The Engineer will not proceed with Task 3 without prior authorization from the Owner. <br /> Task 4—Evaluate Potential Groundwater Sources <br /> The HLC report identified one viable method for obtaining additional water from <br /> potential groundwater sources. The concept is for new horizontal wells to be located <br /> within a ten mile distance downstream of the Lake Decatur Dam. <br /> The Engineer will review this alternative and provide an opinion as to feasibility, <br /> including delivery concepts, potential yields, and probable costs. The collection systems <br /> to be reviewed will include horizontal collector wells and other viable well systems. <br /> This information will be provided in a draft technical memorandum submitted to the <br /> Owner for review and comments, which will be addressed in a final technical <br /> memorandum (20 copies). The Engineer will attend one meeting with the Owner to <br /> present the draft technical memorandum and receive comments.
