Greg Crowe Assistant City Manager City of Decatur Page 2-7/l 4/2008 In summary, fees for the study are as follows with our assumptions on building evaluations and presentation requirements in parentheses: Phase I: $13,000 (Five trips) (Level 1 detail, building evaluation on the existing building only.) Phase II: $27,000 (Includes three trips and basic presentation package with no upgrades. We have indicated the cost of presentation upgrades in the attachment, should they be desired.) The third hypothetical option, if directed, would be developed for$6,000 in additional fees, if done during the time frame and trips of the basic study. The fees include mileage and per diem expenses for a total of 8 trips and 10 final report documents. Additional trips will be billed at$200 per trip and additional final reports at $100 per report. Finally, we understand the importance of being totally objective in the analysis process and the requirement of involvement in the study precluding involvement in the final design documentation; however, depending on the results of the study and the final project delivery method recommendations, PSA-Dewberry is very qualified to provide additional services to the City as follows: • To assist the project through the process of implementation; • to help assure consistency and quality in the design/construction proposal process; • to monitor meeting the needs of the Police Department through project design review process; • and/or to develop a criteria package or bridging documents for design/build proposals.
