� . <br /> BID TABULATION <br /> DECATUR PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM <br /> -PURCHASE OF ONE PICKUP TRUCK WITH SNOW PLOW AND LIFT GATE - <br /> BID OPENING: OCTOBER 2, 2006 <br /> On September 1, 2006,the Decatur Public Transit Syslem placed an advertisement in the Herald <br /> & Review newspaper requesting sealed bids for furnishing the City with one pickup truck with <br /> snow plow and lift gate. Complete bid packages were mailed to 12 new car and truck dealers in <br /> the Decatur area, as well as to any dealership that requested this information. Three bids were <br /> received by the published bidding deadline on October 2"d. Following are the bids of each <br /> company: <br /> BIDDER YEAR/MAKE/MODEL BID <br /> Jackson Ford, Inc. 2007 Ford F-350 $27,913.70 <br /> Bob Ridings, Inc. 2007 Ford F-350 $29,695.00 <br /> Miles Chevrolet, Inc. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado $30,521.28 <br /> All bids were acceptable with respect to the vehicle specifications, although all bids contained <br /> slight variances from the stated specifications.
