Specify replacement of slaker No. 1 with a new loss in weight feeder and slaker to <br /> match slakers No. 2 and No. 3. Specify repair of concrete around slaker No. 1 and <br /> chemical resistant coating. <br /> 13. Specify automatic transfer of sodium chlorite and PLC-based control for operation <br /> of the chlorine dioxide generator. <br /> 14. Specify replacement of five existing chlorinators with new automated units. Work on <br /> this item will not proceed until authorized by OWNER. <br /> 15. Specify new PAC feed pumps and relocation of equipment to the carbon facility. <br /> Control descriptions for automation of the PAC circulation pumps and slurry mixing <br /> will be provided. A new pressure transducer in the existing carbon tank level <br /> monitoring panel will also be specified. <br /> 16. Specify PLC-based control for chemical transfer pumps. <br /> 17. Specify a new flow meter with transmitting head for the High Service/Transfer pump <br /> room cooling water flow for HVAC. <br /> 18. Specify new ultrasonic level transmitters for the chemical bulk storage tanks that <br /> currently do not have this type of transmitter. <br /> 19. Specify ultrasonic level transmitters for the chemical day tanks. <br /> 20. Specify replacement of internal components and new transmitting head for plant <br /> service water flow meter. <br /> 21. Conduct 60 percent design review at Decatur. <br /> 22. Specify replacement of internal components and new transmitting heads for the <br /> chemical feed flow meters. <br /> 23. Specify new differential pressure transducers on the filter effluent flow meters. <br /> 24.
