5. Determine the control signals necessary to provide manual remote operation ' <br /> of the DeWitt wells from the South Water Treatment Plant. Automatic remote <br /> operation will not be considered. <br /> 6. Consult with Owner's independent SCADA system consultant to determine <br /> their recommended telemetry methods for providing manual remote operation. <br /> 7. Provide conceptual level cost estimates for the initial capital costs for <br /> installation of new remote control equipment. <br /> 8. Recommend alternative devices for metering the discharge from individual <br /> wells. Assume that drawings aze available from Owner showing arrangement <br /> of discharge piping from well pumps to determine the best locations for new <br /> meters. <br /> 9. Provide conceptual level cost estimates for the initial capital costs for <br /> , installation of new flow metering equipment for individual well pump <br /> discharges. <br /> C. Hydrology <br /> 1. Review available well construction details, local well test data, well field <br /> operational data, and regional hydrogeological information on the Mahomet <br /> aquifer system. Estimate the current and recommended production capacity <br /> for each well, and for the well field as a whole. <br /> 2. Review available records regarding complaints and mitigation of third party <br /> wells resulting from operation of the DeWitt wells. Investigate and describe <br /> possible impacts caused by operation of the DeWitt wells on the overlying <br /> Glasford aquifer using available data. Make recommendations about the <br /> possible use of monitoring wells or other means to collect data to support <br /> Owner in dealing with possible future third party claims. <br /> 3. Investigate and consult with the Illinois State Water Survey about possible <br /> beneficial and non-beneficial impacts caused by operation of Cisco Well No. 2 <br /> D. EnvironmentalIssues <br /> 1. Review the most recent water quality data that is currently available for the <br /> DeWitt wells.
