K. Costs associated with the City's compliance with and adherence to the Emergency <br /> Telephone System Act(50 ILCS Section 750 et. seq.)and Title 83, Public Utilities- <br /> Chapter 1: Illinois Commerce Commission-Sub-Chapter F: Telephone Utilities-Part 725 <br /> (Standards of Service Applicable to 9-1-1 Emergency Systems) ("Part 725") shall be paid <br /> by the ETSB. <br /> L. The ETSB acknowledges that the City has purchased and installed CAD software <br /> in the PSAP and that such software works in conjunction with law enforcement and fire <br /> record keeping software for the City and the County of Macon. Both the City and the <br /> ETSB acknowledge that for the efficient operation of the PSAP, significant data. <br /> collected by the ETSB must be entered into the CAD system and the parties agree to <br /> work together to make those updates in a timely manner. <br /> M. <br /> (i) The ETSB shall reimburse the City for the cost to the City of one(1) <br /> Communications Supervisor during the term of this Agreement,beginning with <br /> the effective date of this Agreement The amount of such reimbursement shall be <br /> the lowest of the salaries actually paid to Communications Supervisors for the <br /> City,plus the actual cost of the benefits relative thereto as established by the City. <br /> Such reimbursement shall not include overtime. <br /> (ii) T'he ETSB sha11 reimburse the City for the costs to the City of five(5) <br /> Emergency Communications Specialists during the term of this Agreement, <br /> beginning with the effective date of this Agreement. The amount of such <br /> reimbursement shall be at the pay rate of Grade 11 F, plus the actual costs of the <br /> benefits relative thereto as established by the City. Such reimbursement sha11 not <br /> include overtime. <br /> (iii) The terms"Communications Supervisor" and"Emergency <br /> Communications Specialist" shall mean those employees of the City occupying <br /> positions denoted as such by position descriptions of the City,which descriptions <br /> are atta.ched hereto as Exhibits A and B. The costs to the City of said positions <br /> shall include wages and other benefits, including,but not limited to, insurance, <br /> pension contributions and all other generally accepted employment costs, as <br /> determined by the City's Finance Department. Such costs shall not include <br /> overtime. <br /> N. The ETSB shall be responsible for all expenses associated with its obligation to <br /> provide a back-up PSAP, as defined in Part 725, including, but not limited to,telephone <br /> exchange equipment,radio or phone links between the Macon County PSAP and the back- <br /> up PSAP, any charges or expenses related to the operation of the back-up PSAP, and any <br /> expenses incurred by the City due to any agreement with a back-up PSAP. <br /> 5 <br />
