The Plan Commission shall make a recommendation to the City Council
to approve, modify or deny the petition. A recommendation of approval is suggested.
Mr. Nordholm questioned whether the landscaping would be for the whole property. Ms.
Miller stated that only a few plants and possibly a tree would be required for the site.
Mr. John questioned whether the gazage would architecturally match with the house, and
why not have had it included in the staff report as a condition. Ms. Miller stated that it
can always be a request but most of the new garages in the Historical District are not
exactly like the house and staff did not feel it was appropriate to ask for this condition.
Mr. Matthew Jackson, petitioner, was swom in by Ms. Jesse.
Mr. Jackson stated that it is the intention to preserve and match the architectural design of
the house with the gazage as best they can.
There were not objectors present.
It was moved and seconded(John/Anderson)to forward Cal.No. OS-38 to the City
Council with the recommendation for approval as submitted by petitioner.
