Mr. John stated his concern was more in the future if another business would take up
residence in this building how the traffic would be coming in and out of Ravina Park
Road. Mr. Crowe stated it is always possible but felt that due to the restrictive size and
layout of the property, B-2 uses would be limited.
Mr. Clevenger entered the meeting at 3:20 P.M.
Mrs. Sadorus was also concerned about the entrance being on Ravina Park Road and how
it might be a problem in the future. Mrs. Sadorus was concerned about cars possibly be
stored outside the building.
Mr. Mark Plotner, representative for the petitioner, was sworn in by Ms. Jesse.
Mr. Plotner stated Mr. Tallman and himself looked at several locations to store Mr.
Tallman's antique car collection; cazs are currently being stored in the basement of the
former Tallman Pontiac Dealership. Mr. Plotner stated none of these cars would be
stored outside. This location seemed to be the best and most convenient since Mr.
Plotner lived nearby and could keep an eye on the activity around the building. Mr.
Plotner stated a nice building would be built with temperature controls.
Mr. John questioned the dimensions on the drawing the City Plan Commission was
given. Mr. Plotner explained how and where points were and said the drawing was not to
scale.
Mr. Jack Tallman, petitioner, was sworn in by Ms. Jesse.
Mr. Tallman stated there would be weeks when no one would be in the building and felt
like the trc issue would not be a problem. Mr. Tallman stated there was a church
neazby as well as a gas station and this didn't seem to cause a problem with the traffic
flow in the area.
There were no obj ectors present.
It was moved and seconded(Nordholm/Anderson) to forwazd Cal.No. OS-36 to the City
Council with the recommendation for approval as submitted by petitioner.
