Mr. John questioned the address of the petition. Ms. Miller stated this address was <br /> correct. <br /> Mr. Jason Tompkins, representative for the petitioner, was sworn in by Ms. Jesse. <br /> Mr. Tompkins stated he was with Bendsen Signs & Graphics and has been working with <br /> the petitioner on this sign for three (3)to four(4) months. Mr. Tompkins stated the <br /> design of the new sign was included in the packets to the City Plan Commission. Mr. <br /> Tompkins stated that Decatur Earthmovers is requesting a time and temperature display <br /> only and this sign will be illuminated. <br /> Mr.Nordholm asked if this was a double sided sign. Mr. Tompkins stated yes it was. <br /> Mr.Nordholm asked if it was within distance requirements from the road. Mr. Tompkins <br /> stated it would be five (5) feet away from the right-of-way and it does comply. Mr. <br /> Nordholm asked if it was eight (8) feet tall. Mr. Tompkins said it was. <br /> NIr. John asked if in the future the credit union wished to add a drive-up do they need to <br /> rezone and then would the sign have to come down. Mr. Crowe stated there are no plans <br />� for this, but if that were to happen, yes the sign would have to conform to the ordinance. <br /> Ms. Miller stated a conditional use permit could always be applied for. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> It was moved and seconded(Nordholm/Anderson)to forward Cal. No. OS-28 to the City <br /> Council with the recommendation for approval as submitted by petitioner. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br />
