Section 5. That Section 2-2 of Chapter 28 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 2-2 of Chapter 28 <br /> shall provide as follows: <br /> SECTION 2-2. The Human Relations Commission shall consist of thirteen <br /> (13) residents of the City appointed by the Mayor with advice and consent of the <br /> City Council. In making appointments, the Mayor shall comprise such membership <br /> by selecting citizens that broadly represent community segments as to race, creed, <br /> color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, handicap, education, labor and <br /> management. <br /> Section 6. That Section 1 of Chapter 30 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 1 of Chapter 30 shall <br /> provide as follows: <br /> 1. ESTABLISHED. There is hereby created and established to advise <br /> and make recommendations to the Council, the Historical and Architectural Sites <br /> Commission consisting of eleven residents of the City appointed by the Mayor with <br /> the consent of the Council for tern�s of three years and until the respective <br /> successor of each member is appointed and qualified, all of which said terms shall <br /> commence on May 1 and as to which vacancies shall be filled by appointment for <br /> the remainder of any unexpired term. <br /> Section 7.
