The vacation of the plat will not have an adverse affect on the general public. � <br /> STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> 5. The plat is not necessary to serve the general public. Staff recommends approval of the plat <br /> vacation petition subject to the following condition: <br /> A. The original fifteen (15) foot easement recorded at time of plat will be required to remain <br /> as recorded. <br /> B. The forty(40) foot right-of way dedicated to the City will remain as recorded. <br /> PLAN COMMISSION ACTION <br /> 5. The Administrative Policy of the City of Decatur requires that property vacation requests be <br /> submitted to the Plan Commission for a public hearing.
