Review the possibility of monitoring filter backwash turbidity and incorporating this <br /> into control of filters backwash cycle. <br /> 11. Develop design criteria and review equipment proposals from vendor(s) for loss-in- <br /> weight feed and slaker equipment. <br /> 12. Develop control descriptions and UO list for new loss-in-weight-type lime slakers. <br /> 13. Conduct 30 percent design review meeting at Decatur. <br /> 14. Specify installation of seven OWNER-furnished flush valves and actuators on the <br /> treatment basin's piping system. <br /> 15. Assess possibility of using local utility's CDPD mobile modem system for <br /> communicating to remote facilities. <br /> 16. Review existing SCADA computer software. <br /> 17. Review problem with existing backwash water flow meter. <br /> 18. Review potential parameters and sites to be monitored as part of the water quality <br /> monitoring network. <br /> 19. Discuss possible relocation of existing radio telemetry polling to a PLC and <br /> standardizing on a single frequency. <br /> 20. Develop plans and specification for demolition of existing equipment and <br /> installation of new. Specifications will include process control descriptions, an UO <br /> listing, and new equipment to be provided by the Contractor. <br /> 21. Conduct a site survey for a new sludge lagoon discharge monitoring manhole and <br /> structure. <br /> 22. Specify sludge storage lagoon discharge monitoring manhole, structure, and associated <br /> instrumentation. <br /> 23. Conduct 60 percent design review at Decatur. <br /> 24. Review on-site radio path survey results. <br /> 25. Provide recommendations on sites and parameters to be monitored as part of the <br /> water quality monitoring network. <br /> 26.
