smooth. Water resistant gypsum boazd �vill be used in the restroom wet walls. All <br /> drywall will receive one coat of primer and two coats of finish paint. All doors <br /> and frames to be primed and painted. Floor covering in classroom and restrooms <br /> will receive commercial grade VCT with 4" rubber base. <br /> Ceiling tile will be Armstrong brand laid in a 2'x 2' pattern and hung from <br /> structure above. Ceiling height to be approximately 10' above fmished floor. An <br /> 8' long run of base cabinets, countertop and wall cabinets, is figured for break <br /> azea. Restrooms include bathroom partitions and stainless steel accessories and <br /> grab bars. Miscellaneous items include restroom signage, plywood panels for <br /> phone and communication systems by others. All colors,textures and finishes to <br /> be selected by the Owner. � <br /> o PLUMBING <br /> Plumbing is figured to meet and/or exceed code for this building. Usage is based <br /> I on 40 occupants. Water service is to be copper and all drains and vents to be PVC. <br />� i ut n tt h <br /> Plumbing includes two restrooms resized per your request, as la d o o a ac ed <br /> sketch. One drinking fountain is included to meet code. A service sink is figured <br /> in the mechanical room, along with a sprinkler head and backflow preventer. A <br /> gas water heater will service the restrooms and break area sink, and will be <br /> located in the mechanical room One frost-free hose bib is figured on exterior of <br /> the building. Water service is figured at 1"pipe with meter and backflow <br /> preventer. A trench drain is figured in apparatus area with a three-compartment <br /> oil separator. <br /> o HVAC <br /> HVAC equipment will be high efficient and provide a safe comfortable <br /> environment. Equipment will be controlled with electronic thermostats. All gas <br /> piping will be black iron pipe. <br /> The training area will be heatedlcooled with two American Standard 92% 120,00 <br /> BTU units and two 5-ton, 60,000 BTU, 12.5 SEER split A/C units, mounted on <br /> concrete pads next to building. All ductwork is to be per SMACNA industry <br /> standards, made of galvanized sheet metal with 1" thick acoustical duct <br /> insulation. No duct board is to be used. All branch runs will be with flexible <br /> piping to a maximum of 5' from trunk lines. Includes Hart& Cooly soundproof <br /> grilles and registers. Includes restroom e�aust fans. Smoke detectors are <br /> included in the ductwork. <br /> The apparatus area will be heated with two gas-fired infrared tube heaters, Re- <br /> verb-ray model DX-2 and shall be 40' long, 150,000 BTIJ each with flue piping <br /> and outdoor combustion air. Venting will be accomplished with one GreenHeck <br /> eachaust fan with motorized e�aust damper on the sidewall, with a motorized <br /> intake damper on the opposite wall. The dampers will operate simultaneously <br /> upon demand. <br />
