3. The services to be provided by ArchiSearch, as required hereby, shall begin not later <br /> than December 15, 2001, and shall continue through September 30, 2002. The Scope of Work <br /> includes: meeting with City staff and the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency(IHPA) staff to <br /> discuss and determine district boundaries,narrative description, significance and criteria; data <br /> collection for narrative description in spread sheet format; discussion of significance of historic <br /> district including a short history of Decatur and the West End Neighborhood, a discussion of <br /> architectural styles; and an examination of the West End Neighborhood's place in the planning <br /> and development of Decatur. Photographs in streetscape format will be taken illustrating the <br /> various styles of architecture and building types found in the district. Color slides will be <br /> required for the presentation of the nomination. All other nomination requirements such as <br /> USGS maps, and completion of the National Register Form including the bibliography, acreage, <br /> verbal boundary description and boundary justification sections will be completed. Two <br /> presentations will be made by ArchiSearch: a presentation will be made to the West End <br /> Neighborhood Association(with HASC members in attendance) and a presentation will be made <br /> to the Illinois Historic Sites Advisory Council. The project will be completed according to the <br /> attached timeline (Attachment B). Monthly progress reports will be provided by ArchiSearch to <br /> the City. <br /> 4. Deliverables include: Completed National Register Form (hard copy and electronic <br /> form), two (2) sets of 5 X 7 Black and White Photographs for IHPA(the City will receive <br /> Xeroxes and the negatives), two (2) sets of color slides of district (one (1) set for IHPA, one(1) <br /> set for City) and other documentation as appropriate; research data base that includes property <br /> address, style, approximate construction date, etc. (hard copy and electronic form); West End <br /> National Register District Map (the City shall provide mapping data and/or services as required). <br />
