Tosk 1.5 Issues Review/Gool Setting Workshob - Based on the preliminary review and analysis of <br /> the information collected in the previous Tasks, HOK and CBB will review both the current <br /> and future significant issues which affect The Urban Comdors and the development of the <br /> Urban Corridors Plan with the General Public, City Staff and other representatives in a public <br /> participation workshop format. The results of this woricshop will be to confirm and solicit <br /> additional input on the analysis, identification of issues and establish the goals and objectives for <br /> the direction for the development of The Urban Corridors Plan. <br /> • Solicit input on the significant issues, goals and objectives. <br /> • Review the collected data, analysis and issues identified in the previous Tasks. <br /> • Confirm the goals, objectives and direction for the development of altematives. <br /> • Confirm action plan for performing and coordinating the next portion of the work effort. <br /> Task 2.0-Alternative Conceptual Urban Corridors Plan. This task will last ap�roximately eight <br /> 8 weeks. From the information gained and developed during the previous Tasks, HOK and <br /> CBB will develop and prepare a program for the development of the improvement of the <br /> visual and functional environment of The Urban Corridors. Applicable strategies and planning <br /> studies will be identified to prepare Altemative Conceptual Urban Corridor Plans for review <br /> to develop a single Conceptual Urban Corridor Plan. <br /> Task 2.1 Identi ficotion o f Applicable Strategies - Prepare Altemative Conceptual Urban Comdor <br /> Plans - HOK and CBB wili develop the elements of the Conceptual Urban Comdor Plans <br /> based on The City approved direction. Project funding sources, i.e. State, city, foundations, use <br /> of special districts, service clubs, etc. will be reviewed and evaluated to begin to establish the <br /> range of the applicable improvement strategies that would be possible. <br /> • Identification of applicable design strategies. <br /> • Identification of applicable traf�ic and roadway strategies. <br /> • Identification of applicable phasing strategies. <br /> • Identification of applicable implementation strategies. <br /> • Identification of applicable funding strategies. <br /> Task 2.2 Design Strotegies Review Meeting- Based on the review of the information collected in <br /> Tasks 2.1, HOK and CBB will review and confirrn the strategies and program for the <br /> improvement of the visual and functional environment of project area with the Steering <br /> Committee. The goal ofthis meeting wili be to confirm and solicit additional input on <br /> direction and development of Altemative Conceptual Urban Corridor Plans. <br /> • Review the issues, goals and objectives of The Conceptual Urban Corridors Plan. <br /> • Review the applicable strategies for the development of The Urban Corridor Plans. <br /> • Establish the program and direction for the development of the Aitemative Urban <br /> Corridor Plans. <br /> • Confirm action plan for perforrning and coordinating the next portion of the work effort. <br /> Task 2.3 Development of Altemative Conceptual Urban Corridor Plons - Based on the applicable <br /> design strategies and the agreed upon program and direction for the Alternative Urban <br /> Corridor Plans, HOK and CBB will develop three conceptual altematives for review with the <br /> Steering Committee and City Staff. <br /> page 4 of 16 <br />
