Section 7. The salary and wage applicable to police patrol officers shall be increased <br /> by 5% for such officers who are assigned to K-9 duty by order of the Chief of Police for the <br /> period during which said of�icers are so assigned. <br /> Section 8. There shall be no duplication or pyramiding in the computation of overtime <br /> or other premium wages, and nothing in this Agreement shall require the payment of overtime or <br /> other premium pay more than once for the same hours worked, except that the K-9 officers are <br /> entitled to retain their 5% K-9 pay differential in addition to any other premium pay to which they <br /> are entitled. <br /> Section 9. The Salary and wage applicable to Sergeants shall be increased by 5% for <br /> the officer listed below for the period during which said officer holds the rank of Sergeant: <br /> Clifford Kretsinger <br /> Section 10. An oi�icer required to work out of classification and instead perform the <br /> regular duties of a higher classified rank for a period in excess of five (5) days, but not including i� <br /> any such periods worked for training purposes, shall receive the base rate of pay for said higher I <br /> rank for a11 days so worked if such pay is in excess of said officer's current salary. � <br /> Section 1 l. Any officer actively performing the duties of a Field Training Officer shall � <br /> receive an amount equal to one hour's pay at time and one half for each day the officer performs <br /> the duties of a Field Training Officer. It is understood that this is in addition to any overtime pay <br /> earned pursuant to other provisions of this contract. No more than one FTO per probationary <br /> officer will be eligible to receive training compensation pay during any one work/training shift. <br /> Section 12. The City shall offer employees the option of participation in the "cafeteria <br /> plan," currently offered by the City as permitted by Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. <br /> Participation by an employee shall be on a voluntary basis. Information regarding said plan will be <br /> made available to any officer upon request to the Risk Management Division. <br /> 12 <br />
