Barry Leona d, Risk Manager� <br /> SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT PROGRAM <br /> The City of Decatur Flexible Benefit Plan (Section 125 of the IRS Code of 1986) was <br /> authorized by City Council per Resolution No. R92-18 on February 17, 1992 (copy attached). <br /> The IRS has promulgated new regulations affecting Section 125 plan elections which are <br /> effective January l, 2001. Staff recommends our plan be amended to conform to the new <br /> regulations. <br />
