� ` MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> DECATUR CITY PLAN COMIVIISSION ', <br /> Thursday, November 4, 1999, 3:00 P.M. <br /> City Council Chambers, Decatur Civic Center <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> The November 4, 1999 meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission was called to order at 3:02 <br /> P.M. in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor of the Decatur Civic Center, by Chairman Mike <br /> Shampine who determined a quorum was present. <br /> Members Present: Mike Shampine, Jim Schiller, Dave Anderson, William Clevenger, Lou Ann <br /> Jacobs, Steve John, Susie Peck, Michael Setina, Phyllis Washington, <br /> Tom Smith <br /> Members Absent: Dan Smallwood <br /> Staff Present: Max Forgey, Kathy Miller, Wendy Morthland, Lori Na1e <br /> It was moved and seconded (John/Schiller)to approve the minutes of the October 7, 1999 <br /> meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission as presented. Motion carried with abstention by <br /> Commissioners Jacobs and Smith. <br /> New Business <br /> Cal. No. 99-68 Petition of STEVE HORVE, JR., for approval of a Revised R-3 <br /> Residential Planned Unit Development located at the southwest corner <br /> of Fulton and Albany Avenues <br /> Mr. Phillip Cochran, Consulting Engineer, was present and spoke for the petition representing the <br /> petitioner. Mr. Cochran stated this is the fourth time this project has been presented to the Plan <br /> Commission due to market driven changes in the development. The petition reflects the reduction <br /> of density with less units. There was opposition to the project previously and adjacent,property <br /> owners were concerned about density and water drainage. Mr. Cochran stated that there have <br /> been improvements to drainage in the area. <br /> Mr. Cochran noted that on the original development, the option of patios or screened in porches <br /> was not shown. They are shown on the current drawings. The setbacks have not been changed. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br />
