parties further realize that such work during at irregular hours and at other locations is of equal <br /> importance to the normal daily duties and responsibilities of the acting City Manager which <br /> would be performed at the administrative offices of the City. Therefore, in order to encourage <br /> Employee to undertake and perform such work at hours which might be considered irregular, and <br /> to provide Employee with a reasonable limitation to the total number of hours which may be <br /> required of her in any given week, it is understood and agreed that Employee shall work the <br /> hours necessary in order for her to fulfill the requirements and responsibilities of the position of <br /> City Manager, which hours shall not be less than forty(40)per week. <br /> 6. EMPLOYEE'S SALARY. Employee shall receive a salary at an annual rate of <br /> Ninety-Three Thousand Dollars ($93,000.00) for the period commencing September 20, 1999, <br /> and such salary shall be payable in bi-weekly installments as per the pay plan generally <br /> applicable to all City employees. Such payments shall be subject to normal and customary <br /> withholding, and Employee hereby irrevocably consents to the reporting of such payxnents to <br /> federal and state taxing authorities, and further consents to the withholding of amounts normally <br /> and customarily withheld which funds are thereby authorized to be paid to lawful federal and <br /> state taxing authorities. The payment of the salary described herein shall continue from the date <br /> set forth until such time as this Agreement is terminated as provided for in � 15 hereof. <br /> 7. VACATION LEAVE. Employee shall remain entitled to the same number of <br /> days of paid vacation leave during the term of this Agreement as Employee possesses under the <br /> current policies and plans of the City of Decatur. Therefore, Employee's vacation benefits shall <br /> not be altered, modified, or changed from the benefits which she possesses currently as an <br /> employee of the City. <br /> 3 <br />
