Chapter 60 <br /> (j) No applicant shall be granted a taxicab driver's license as required by this Chapter, <br /> if he or she has, within the preceding iwelve (12) morrths, had a prior applicatio»for a taxicab <br /> driver's license denied <br /> (k) The Chief of the Decatur Police Department shall, upon consideration of the <br /> application, and factors herein enumerated approve or reject the application in writing. If the <br /> application is rejecte� the applicant may request a personal appearance before the Chief of <br /> Police, to offer evidence why his or her application should be rejected <br /> �: 22. FEE FOR TA.I�CAB DRIVER'S LICENSE. The taxicab driver's license fee <br /> shall be the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00) per annum. All licenses shall expire on the 30th day of <br /> April each year. <br /> �- 23. DRIVER'S BADGE. The Finance Department shall deliver to each driver a <br /> badge of such form and style as the City Council shall prescribe, with his license number thereon, <br /> which badge must, under penalty of revocation of the license, be constantly and conspicuously <br /> displayed on the outside of the driver's coat or outer garment while he is engaged in his <br /> employment. No driver shall loan his badge, or permit another person to use the same. Each <br /> driver must show his name and number in a conspicuous place in the taxicab he may be operating. <br /> I � 24. RECORD OF DRIVER'S LICENSES. There shall be kept by the Finance <br /> Department a complete record of each license issued to a driver and of all renewals, suspensions <br /> and revocations thereof, which record shall be kept on file with the original application of the <br /> driver for a license. <br /> I �4. 25. DRIVER LEAVING VEHICLE. The driver of any taaucab shall remain upon <br /> the driver's seat, or inside his taxicab, or stand beside the taxicab at all times, while such taxicab is <br /> standing in or upon the public stands, but nothing in this section shall prohibit such driver from <br />
