during regular business hours, and at hours beyond regular working hours. The parties further <br /> realize that such work during at irrewlar hours and at other locations is of equal importance to the <br /> normal daily duties and responsibilities of the actin� City Mana�er which would be performed at <br /> the administrative offices of the City. Therefore, in order to encoura�e Employee to undertake and <br /> perform such work at hours which might be considered irregular, and to provide Employee with a <br /> reasonable limitation to the total number of hours which may be required of him in any given week, ' <br /> it is understood and agreed that Employee shall work the hours necessary in order for him to fulfill <br /> the requirements and responsibilities of the position of City Manager, which hours shall not be less ', <br /> than forty (40) per week. <br /> 6. EMPLOYEE'S SALARY. Employee shall receive a salary at an annual rate of , <br /> Seventy-Eight Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars (�78,650.00) for the period commencing March <br /> 16, 1996, and such salary shall be payable in bi-weekly installments as per the pay plan generally I'� <br /> applicable to all City employees. Such payments shall be subject to normal and customary � <br /> withholding, and Employee hereby irrevocably consents to the reportin� of such payments to federal I� <br /> and state taxing authorities, and further consents to the withholdin� of amounts normally and '� <br /> customarily withheld which funds are thereby authorized to be paid to lawful federal and state taxing I'� <br /> authorities. The payment of the salary described herein shall continue from the date set forth until <br /> such time as this Agreement is terminated as provided for in § 15 hereof. <br /> 7. VACATION LEAVE. Employee shall remain entitled to the same number of days <br /> of paid vacation leave during the term of this Agreement as Employee possesses under the current <br /> policies and plans of the City of Decatur.
