registration fees for training programs offered by such organizations, and travel and incidental costs <br /> relating to attendance at such programs or the conferences and meetings of such organizations. It <br /> is specifically understood that such activities are to be undertaken by Employee, at his option, but <br /> at the request of the City, and shall be considered as part of the duties of Employee hereunder. <br /> Employee shall be reimbursed for other reasonable expenses as the City shall approve by lawful <br /> action of the City Council. <br /> 11. GROUP 'VIEDICAL INSL`RA:�TCE BENEFITS. The City shall, subject to the <br /> limitations provided for herein, provide Employee with group life insurance, and employee and <br /> dependent health, hospitalization, and dental covera�e in accordance with such benefits provided <br /> other management employees of the City. I�Totwithstanding the foregoing, it is agreed and <br /> understood that the City may, at its sole option, modify, or eliminate said insurance or benefits, or <br /> any portions thereof, provided that Employee is treated no differently than other mana�ement <br /> employees of the City. <br /> 12. PUBLIC OF'FICIAL LIABII..TTY�VSUR�'�TCE A.�'D REPRESENTATION BY <br /> LEGAL COUNSEL. The City may provide Employee with public official liability insurance in <br /> accordance with such provided for other o£'icers of the City. In addition, if the Employee is named <br /> or made a party to any action, claim, or demand in a.ny court or administrative tribunal for any claim, <br /> cause of action, suit, or demand, except for criminal, traffic, misdemeanor, or petty offenses, which <br /> arise from his actions or conduct as an employee of the City, the City shall select and compensate <br /> an attorney who shall provide a defense for Employee, unless the City Council determines that said <br /> -5- <br />� <br />
