� <br /> MINING OPERATIONS <br /> 15. The general layout of the mining area and processing plant is shown in the Mine Plan. � <br /> 16. Mining setbacks of 85 feet have been allowed to the adjacent properties and a setback of <br /> 70 feet has been observed for wetland protection. <br /> 17. During extraction, mining slopes of 2 to 1 above water and 1 to 1 below water are <br /> planned. <br /> 18. Within the mining area a total of 5.7 acres approximately will be excavated. <br /> Development of the area will begin with dragline excavation of 1.0 acres approximately, <br /> prior to installation of the dredge. <br /> � 19. Overburden from the site will be stored in the existing plant stockpile area to be sold at <br /> a later date or alternately to be used in the construction of lagoon number seven. <br /> 20. During initial dredging operations, the mine pond will be too small for sedimentation and <br /> an additional tem or r 'm n n ' 1 nn n h rn <br /> a sedi e t o d is a ed o t e easte bound . Fines <br /> P Y P P �'Y <br /> collected in this pond will later be processed through the plant as mining progresses. <br /> 21. The Process Plant will be located on the Lu ari Pro ert with access throu h an existin <br /> g A Y g g <br /> gate to Monroe Street. Customer trucking route onto Monroe and exiting onto State <br /> Route 105 will remain as previously established at the present location. <br /> 22. Security fencing will be installed as shown on the Mine Plan on Monroe Street north and <br /> on the Vulcan Lugari lease line. <br /> 23. Material will be extracted in the mining area to an approximate average depth of 45 feet <br /> and mining operations are expected to last 3 to 4 years. <br /> � <br /> 4. <br />
