The ETSB acknowledges that the City has purchased and installed Computerized <br /> Assisted Dispatch (CAD) software in the PSAP and that software works in conjunction <br /> with law enforcement and fire record keeping software for the City and the County of <br /> Macon. Both the City and the ETSB acknowledges that for the efficient operation of the <br /> PSAP, significant data collected by the ETSB must be entered into the Computerized <br /> Assisted Dispatch(CAD) system and the parties agree to work together to make those <br /> updates in a timely manner; <br /> M. The ETSB agrees that the date to be designated as the "cut over" date for the <br /> implementation of Enhanced 9-1-1 service must be one that is mutually agreed to by the <br /> ETSB and the City; <br /> N. The City recognizes that the ETSB can fund operations of only an Enhanced 9-1-1 <br /> system. The funding of personnel by the ETSB must be limited to the establishment and <br /> operation of an Enhanced 9-1-1 system. As there is planning, preparation and training <br /> required in order to implement such an Enhanced system, the funding by the ETSB of a <br /> Communications Supervisor to facilitate that planning, preparation and training is <br /> authorized immediately by this Agreement. The additional funding by the ETSB of <br /> Emergency Communication Specialists to train with and operate said system will begin on <br /> the date that Enhanced 9-1-1 telephone circuits are installed, or on May 1, 2001, <br /> whichever comes first. <br /> (i) The ETSB shall reimburse the City for the cost to the City of one (1) <br /> Communications Supervisor during the term of this Agreement, beginning January <br /> 1, 2001, and any extensions thereof. The amount of such reimbursement shall be <br /> the lowest of the salaries actually paid to Communication Supervisors for the City li <br /> plus the actual cost of the benefits relative thereto as established by the City. ' <br /> (ii) The ETSB shall reimburse the City for the costs to the City of Emergency <br /> Communications Specialists, at the pay rate of Grade 11 F plus the actual cost of <br /> the benefits relative thereto as established by the City, as follows: <br /> (a) commencing on the date of installation of the Enhanced 9-1-1 <br /> telephone circuits, or on May l, 2001, whichever comes first, two (2) <br /> Emergency Communication Specialists; <br /> (b) commencing on January 1, 2002, one (1) additional Emergency <br /> Communication Specialist, or a total of three (3)Emergency <br /> Communication Specialists; <br /> (c) commencing on January 1, 2003, one (1) additional Emergency <br /> Communication Specialist, or a total of four(4)Emergency <br /> Communication Specialists; <br /> 5 <br />
