Pedestrian Underpass FeasibiIity Study June I7, 1997 <br /> Fzst Marietta Street and East Condit Street <br /> Pending the identification of further funding, Altemate SB is recommended to provide pedestrian <br /> crossing at Condit Street. This alternate will provide ADA accessibility at a reasona.ble cost, <br /> provide sidewalk access on the north side, and require minimal str�et and drainage reconstruction. <br /> Sealing of the bridge joint and raising the sidewalk will help eliminate some of the winter time <br /> problems from ice and snow. However, an important part of this alternate is the fencing north of <br /> Condit Street. If this is not part of the project, then pedestrians will continue to use the "path of <br /> least resistance" and cross the railroad instead of using the underpass. <br /> �P CO7�01'CltdOrl Page - 15 <br />
