ATTACHMENT III <br /> AGENCY: DECATUR NOT IN OUR TOWN <br /> PROJECT: "Working Together To Span The Gap Between The Races" <br /> PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The mission of Not In Our Town is to work towards the goal of <br /> eliminating racism through a variety of educational opportunities. Through the various training <br /> opportunities, community forums, and events, individuals and families will become motivated to <br /> participate and be involved in improving race relations. <br /> FUNDING REQUESTED: $25,000 <br /> FUNDING RECOMMENDATION: � <br /> REVISED FUNDING RECOMMENDATION: 10 000 <br /> RATIONALE: Staff will work with this new agency to ensure that HUD statutory and <br /> regulatory requirements are met. The recommendation for funding is <br /> based on Council's directive at the meeting of October 25, 1999. <br /> Page -4- <br />
