� include distributing, publishing, and promoting collection information, allowing tours of facilities, <br /> and publishing and distributing an information packet with the delivery of each new and/or <br /> replacement bin. All information shall be subject to the advance approval of the City. Contractor <br /> shall maintain normal business hours and shall be open for residents to drop off recyclables if they <br /> choose to do so. <br /> 8.3 With reasonable notice, Contractor shall pernut the City or its authorized designees to <br /> inspect and examine all records during regulaz business hours pertaining to the collection, <br /> transportation, and processing of all recyclables which occurs under this agreement. Contractor <br /> shall also provide such additional data, information, or statistical material concerning recyclables <br /> collection as may be reasonably requested by the City from time to time. The data shall be used <br /> for purposes including, but not limited to, publicizing recycling participation rates, quantities, and <br /> other statistics to residents; as well as documentation of amount of City recycling or other <br /> reporting requirements as may be required by the State of Illinois, Macon County, or other <br /> agencies during the term of this agreement. All reports, data, and information, once supplied to <br /> the City shall become the property of the City. <br /> 8.4 Contractor shall be responsible for the processing and sale to markets of recyclables. I <br /> Collection of recyclables are to occur despite the fact that markets for a certain recyclable may be <br /> low. No disposal of recyclables in a landfill or incinerator by the Contractor shall occur without <br /> the City's knowledge and authorization. Should such disposal occur without the City's <br /> knowledge or authorization, it may result in termination of the agreement. <br />� IX. PROMOTION AND INFORMATION PROGRAM <br /> 9.1 Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a quarterly publication that increases public <br /> awareness of the benefits of recycling as well as provide information on the recycling program and <br /> how to facilitate recycling for residents. The City will work with the Contractor on developing <br /> this publication and will jointly develop special education programs with the Contractor on special <br /> occasions such as AMERICA RECYCLES DAY and EARTH DAY. <br /> X. PAYMENT <br /> 10.1 For all of the services to be provided hereunder by Contractor the City shall pay <br /> Contractor $1.40 per dwelling per month. In any event a pro rata portion of the monthly payment <br /> shall be paid equal to the pro rata portion of any month this agreement is in force. <br /> 10 <br />
