2) Direction and supervision of employee training as needed. <br /> 3) Direction and supervision of safety programs, safety meetings and <br /> campaigns and use of safety equipment. <br /> E) Equipment and Building Maintenance including: <br /> 1) Studying bus operation and maintenance service to determine the <br /> adequacy of the existing equipment. <br /> 2) Recommending equipment purchases for transportation and maintenance <br /> operations. . <br /> 3) Direction and supervision of equipment and building maintenance <br /> operations. ' <br /> 4) Supervising inspection of equipment to promote safety of the riding and <br /> general public. <br /> F) Equipment Purchasing: <br /> 1) Direction and supervision of purchasing minor equipment, hazdware, <br /> office supplies, etc. <br /> 3) Operator shall also furnish, either upon the request of or with the prior approval <br /> of City, such consulting and technical assistance as may be reasonably required to <br /> assist the resident manager in the operation of the transit system which shall <br /> i.nclude but not be limited to the matters set out in Paragraph 2 hereof. <br /> 4) Operator shall employ and furnish as the employees of Operator, such personnel <br /> as shall be reasonably required for the efficient and economical operation of the <br /> transit system, and shall assume and accept all current labor contracts in force <br /> upon the effective date hereof, and such other contractual obligations there may <br /> be in connection with the acquisition by the City of the transit system to be <br /> managed, supervised and operated by Operator. <br /> 5) City shall furnish all property either real, personal or mixed and all office space, <br /> garaging and repair facilities, furniture, equipment, buildings, buses, other motor <br /> vehicles, supplies, materials, utilities and other services as may be reasonably <br /> required to properly and e�ciently manage, supervise and operate said transit <br /> system, all of which said property shall be and remain the property of City. <br /> 6) Upon receipt of properly validated and substantiated vouchers and payrolls in <br /> such form as City may require furnished to City at least 5 days before the payroll <br /> -3- <br />
