M. The City of Decatur agrees to provide access to the Macon County ETSB to the <br /> electronic database for E9-1-1 phone calls in the software installed by the Macon <br /> County ETSB, for quality control purposes and for reporting as required by various <br /> state and federal regulations, as outlined in policy and procedures to be established <br /> between the two parties; <br /> III <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF ETSB <br /> A. Provide for the design of the Emergency Telephone System, in cooperation with <br /> the City's PSAP Manager; <br /> B. Provide for the coding of an initial Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) data <br /> base, and update and maintenance thereof; <br /> C. Provide for approved E9-1-1 equipment, as provided for by applicable state and <br /> federal regulations and as agreed upon between the two parties of this agreement. <br /> D. Provide for the nonrecurring charges related to installation of the Emergency <br /> Telephone System and the ongoing network charges; <br /> E. Provide for other products and services necessary for the implementation, <br /> upgrade and maintenance of the system and any other purpose related to the operation <br /> of the system, not to include the costs of public safety agency personnel who are and <br /> equipment that is dispatched in response to an emergency call; <br /> F. That all equipment, hardware, software and other materials purchased by ETSB <br /> shall remain the property of ETSB; <br /> G. That ETSB agrees to provide for the administration of the Macon County E9-1-1 <br /> System in close cooperation with the City PSAP Manager; <br /> H. That the ETSB shall be responsible for E9-1-1 System errors and disruptions; <br /> I. That ETSB agrees to fund and/or provide E9-1-1 training as required for E9-1-1 <br /> telecommunicators, supervisors and PSAP managers. Training which is required by the <br /> Macon County ETSB shall be at the expense of the Macon County ETSB. The Macon <br /> County ETSB shall reimburse the City for all expenses of required training, which <br /> expenses shall include, but are not limited to, the following: class fees and registration, <br /> travel, lodging, meals, and salary of the employee attending and the actual amount of <br /> overtime necessitated by the absence of on duty employees to attend the training. <br /> Expenses for training which is requested, but not required by the ETSB which would <br /> enhance the performance of the Communication Staff shall be divided between the City <br /> 4 <br />
