to preserve the health, safety and general welfare of the community. A complete Refuse Removai <br /> Application meeting the requirements of Chapter 56 of the City Code has been submitted. They <br /> have submitted information regarding personnel and equipment to illustrate that they are capable <br /> of complying with Chapter 56 of the City Code. Available information meets the requirements for <br /> a refuse removal license. Waste Management of Springfield stated that a local office may be � <br /> established as needed based on economics, convenience, and logistics. <br /> Objections were heard at the Public Hearing as well as filed in written form. Generally, the basis <br /> of the objections voiced centered around the idea that the area is currently adequately seiyed and <br /> that granting Waste Manageme�of Springfield a license would take revenue out of Decatur. <br /> Copies of the hearing record and ob jections are available f o r r e v i e w. <br /> Based on the evidence presented, I hereby recommend that a commercial refuse removal license <br /> be issued to Waste Management of Springfield. <br />
