ANDERSON PLAZA DECATUR, ILLINOIS 62523-1196 <br /> '/l l I N O�`' <br /> REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS <br /> The City of Decatur, Illinois requests qualifications of consultants to prepare a draft of the <br /> Decatur Urbanized Area Transportation Study: 2020 Transportation Plan. <br /> The City will conduct a meeting on November 13, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. for the purposes <br /> answering questions and familiarizing a11 Consultants submitting an application with the required <br /> specifications and schedule. The meeting will be held at the Civic Center#1 Gary K. Anderson <br /> Plaza Decatur, Illinois 62523 in the City Council Chambers. Any questions will be answered at <br /> this meeting for the equal benefit and knowledge of all Consultants submitting applications. <br /> The deadline for submitting applications is December 1, 1998 at 5:00 p.m. No application <br /> received after this deadline will be considered. Sealed applications must be received by the Senior <br /> Planner at the Civic Center#1 Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, IL 62523. Copies of the <br /> Request for Qualifications are available in this office or by calling 217-424-2781. Sealed <br /> envelopes should be clearly labeled "Sealed Request For Qualifications for the Decatur Urbanized <br /> Area Transportation Study: 2020 Transportation Plan." The name and address of the Consultant <br /> submitting the application should also be clearly printed on the sealed envelope. Facsimile <br /> transmitted applications and telephone applications will not be accepted. <br /> The City of Decatur reserves the right to reject any or all applications, to waive any irregularities <br /> in the application process, and to accept the application or combination of applications deemed to <br /> be in its best interest. The City also reserves the right to otherwise solicit new applications if <br /> some manner of negotiation better serves its interests. The City shall consider the capability of <br /> the Consultant to provide high quality reliable services, prior background and experience, and <br /> financial and operational capability to carry out a11 specified obligations. The City reserves the <br /> right to make such investigations as it deems necessary to deternune the ability of a Consultant to <br /> perform the work. <br /> Illinois Human Rights Act applies. <br /> Pride of the Prairie <br />
