F. Revise contract drawings to show location and nature of improvement as actually <br /> constructed and supply one set of Record Drawings to the CITY. <br /> G. Inspect the contractor's operations to insure compliance with the plans and <br /> specifications and the keeping of complete project records. <br /> H. Check all shop and working drawings. <br /> I. Review and check all reports by testing laboratories on equipment and material <br /> tested. <br /> 3. Resident Ins en ction- Provide detailed Resident Inspection Services, when so directed by <br /> the CITY, during construction of the proposed improvements, including but not limited to <br /> the following: <br /> A. Establish lines and grades and direct the layout of all work on the ground as <br /> construction proceeds. <br /> B. Provide continuous inspection of the work for compliance with plans and <br /> specifications. Such inspection shall include those services which as customarily <br /> referred to as detailed resident inspection services provided that the ENGINEER <br /> shall not be responsible for the acts or omissions of any contractor(s), any <br /> subcontract(s), or any of the contractor(s), or subcontractor(s), agents or <br /> employees or any other person(except his own employees and agents) at the <br /> project site or for the supervision,direction, control and work safety of any <br /> contractor(s) or for the construction means, methods, techniques, sequences, or <br /> procedures or for safety precautions or programs incidental to the work of <br /> contractor(s) or for any contractor(s) failure to perform the construction work in <br /> accordance with contract documents. <br /> C. Keep a daily record or log of the contractor's activities throughout construction <br /> including notations on the nature and cost of any extra work. <br /> D. Supervise all inspectors, proportioning engineers, and other technical personnel <br /> assigned to the project. <br /> E. Review and check all payment estimates, change orders, records, and reports <br /> pertaining to the construction activities. ' <br /> 4. That all reports, plans, plats, estimates, and special provisions to be furnished by the <br /> ENGINEER in accordance with 1 A of THE ENGINEER AGREES shall be in accordance <br /> with the current standard specifications and policies of the CITY, it being understood that <br /> all such reports, plans, plats, estimates, and drafts shall, before being finally accepted, be <br /> subject to approval by the CITY.
